Resources for Woodturners in California
Central Coast Woodturners is a chapter of the American Association of Woodturners (AAW), a nonprofit group that works to bring people who love the art of woodturning together in the state of California. On this page, you can find helpful resources that can educate you on the craft and further your skill set.

Our Resource Library
In October 2022, the CCWT decided that, with the amount of free and readily available videos and written articles on the internet, the club no longer needed to maintain a lending library pertaining to the subject of woodturning. The decision was made, and the process of selling off the contents of the group’s library to the membership at monthly meetings was started.
Loaner lathes
One of the club "loaners" is a portable General "Maxi-Lathe" with some basic tooling.
Also included is the bucket of turning tools as shown below.
The other loaner lathe is a Delta tabletop unit that also runs on 110V AC (household) current.
It also includes basic tooling and a cardboard box of basic turning tools. (See below.)
